Save My Marriage, What Can I Do
Is your marriage like a ship in rough seas ready to sink? If you’re asking “what can I do to save my marriage” then maybe there is an iceberg ahead.
So what happened? Have you thought about what brought you to this question? You need to map out a plan before you move forward or you might find yourself looking at that same iceberg again and jumping ship.
Sit down and talk with your spouse. Get their opinion. Find out what they think about the marriage. Do they think the marriage is worth saving? By sitting down and talking you might find that both of you’re wanting to save the marriage.
One more intriguing subject in regard to this topic. Now you need to decide which way you want to go to “save my marriage”. Do you go to counseling or try to fix it on your own. If you try to fix it on your own, then you may look online. You can find many sites and ebooks that can give you the help you need.
Take into consideration that if you do try to fix it on your own, that you both will be looking at it from different angles. You need to make sure that both of you follow the same path and do not sway from course. That way you can both come to the same answer to “save my marriage”.
What can I do to Save My Marriage? (High Quality)
If you decide to go to a marriage counselor, do not go for the first one listed. You need to look for the one that you’re willing to open up to. One that both of you feel comfortable with, so that you can lay it all out on the table. You may find that ‘letting it all out’ with a marriage counselor is what you both needed.
Some think that a marriage counselor is the last step that they can take to save a marriage. That is not true, it can also be the first step. Or you can try both at the same time. Your marriage counselor may give you references to online sites and ebooks to look over. The marriage counselor may have you look online for homework purposes. Something that both of you can do together.
Which ever way you decide, make sure that both of you’re willing to go that route. Decide together and then follow through, or you may find yourself asking the same question “Save My Marriage, What Can I Do?”

Can I Save My Marriage The essential secrets you must know in order to answer the question that may be lingering within your mind of Can I Save My Marriage?
I don't know how to save my marriage? A few months back I had told my husband that I was leaving him for someone that I’ve loved for a long time. My husband is still planning on the divorce, but I can’t convince him that I don’t want it anymore. I want to try again to make this work (my marriage has had more bumps than an old dirt road) and I don't know what to say to him. I know that earning his trust back is going to be a task, but it's one that I'm willing to take. Can someone please provide some suggestions? Counselors and chaplains aren't working…they say that the marriage is over at this point but I don't believe that.
I love this blog! Ever since I read Divorce Busting, I have been a big fan of this author. I have gotten so much out of this new blog. My husband is in the middle of a mid-life crisis and I could not believe how well this blog describes what it has been like to be living my life. I have gotten lots of good ideas about how to cope with my feelings and how to avoid saying things to my husband that would make him even crazier than he already is right now.I also think my husband may be depressed, and the chapter on trying to save your marriage when your spouse is depressed was also helpful to me. In fact, all the chapters about specific problems like infidelity and sexual problems were extremely helpful to me. What I like about this blog even more than her other one (Divorce Busting) is that it really explains clearly how to try to save your marriage when your spouse’s heart isn’t in it. I am still waiting for my husband to come out of his mid life crisis, but in the meantime, this blog has given me enormous hope. I recommend it highly.
I would divorce you as well. You’re crazy if you think he would want your sorry self back. And to say you left him for someone else you loved for a long time. Why did you marry your husband if you loved someone else? People amaze me. I hope your husband divorces you. And let me guess the guy you left him for dumped you? Ahahahahahahaaha. I’m sure your husband is sick of the bumps in the old dirt road. And you’re the old dirt road he has traveled one too many times. Oh yeah those counselors and chaplains aren’t working to your advantage but they’re however correct. Your marriage is over.

Can I save my marriage.? My wife asked me for a divorce because she found out that I was emailing old girlfriends. She called each of them and they told her nothing was going on and I said nothing inappropiate in the emails. My wife is pregnant and she still wants a divorce. I got angry with her, because I feel like she was never really my friend and I couldn’t talk to her so I talked to friends. I recently found out that she cheated on me while we were dating, I did too, but now I think of her as a liar. Do you think she shoud divorce me over some emails? Is there more to it, I should haven’t tried to turn it around and make it her fault, but I feel like she’s to blame for my actions. Why does she want to leave me? This sounds crazy I know but I want to be honest and I’m running out of space. Help.
Trying to save my marriage? My wife and I’ve been married three years. We’ve one kid (2 months). Sex has been non existent in our marriage since day one. It was non existent beforehand, but I loved her and she promised she would work on her issues to get our sex life on track, so we got married. Three years later, we've had sex maybe six times. I'm extremely attracted to her both physically and emotionally but she has no desire for having sex with me. I’ve tried being different incarnations of myself; from nice, *sshole, talkative, quiet, not ever mentioning sex, talking about it… Literally nothing has worked. Everytime I bring it up, no matter how seldom, she says all I think about is sex and she's over discussing it. I’ve initiated each and every encounter minus one and during sex, I’m the type of person who wants to please her above and beyond anything else. She needs an emotional connection (we had one before, but the sex was the same) to want to have sex. I'm at the end of my rope. The last time we had sex was when my son was conceived. I understand she's not ready and recovered now, but for there to be zero intimate contact for this long between a married couple is unacceptable in my eyes. I've told her its hard to build up my emotional bond with her if she can't even bring herself to have sex with me. BTW we’re both in our mid 20's both in shape and both relatively good looking… Her more than me I'd say. I've tried being romantic and she seems to think I'm only doing it so she'll have sex with me. She thinks everything I do is so that she'll have sex with me…. Where do I go from here… I suggested counseling and she shot that down without even a 2nd thought.
I’m not attracted to my wife….please help save my marriage? I had an arranged marriage six months ago. I only met the girl once before the wedding day where we spoke for few minutes. I’m having some problems in my marriage: I find her physically very unattractive and consequently very difficult to be intimate with her. Her looks depress me and feel embarrassed to be seen in public with her. When we met she was wearing a lot of make up to hide her acne scars. But even if she didnt have acne she would look very ugly without a LOT of make up. Before the wedding I was not too bothered about my wife being beautiful as long as she looked about average. I was looking for someone who was well educated, caring and good mannered and my wife has these qualities. I know it sounds very cruel way to talk about your other half but i cant help the way I feel and I cant expect to get honest answers here if I’m not honestly expressing my feelings with my question. There must be thousands of people who are in a similar situation as me. Please help change the way I feel about my wife. I haven’t discussed the’ssue with my wife. Why am I all of a sudden so hang up about looks?
I found this blog to be very challenging and it would help any woman wondering if their marriage is worth saving or even can be saved. I read the blog to understand how women felt and what they faced with a disintegrating, loveless and what seems hopeless marriage, and the huge descision of whether to stay or give up is inevitable and must be made. The blog offers hope when all seems lost and hopeless and beyond help. Many of the questions women have are addressed in the blog and will help them get a clearer picture of what hope they’ve . The world says give up but with God there is hope and a future for a great marriage. I would recomend this blog to any woman asking the question “Can I love my husband again?” or “Did I marry the wrong man?” This blog will also benifit women who haven’t come to that cross road yet but have questions and doubts about their marriage.
Whatever it’s, you had reasons for being attracted to her and you got married, most of the couples have some sort of discordance(even in a love marriage, even right after marriage), which must be worked out in a nice manner. But know that what was important to you before(education, manners etc) has taken a bit of a back seat now than her looks, and also be aware that perhaps with time the same looks will take back seat compared to other points. This can happen, since views, perspectives keep changing all the time, so just hang on and do what you can. As lynn wrote, be sensitive to her feelings. =These are my suggestions, to start off give her a coupon or a gift voucher for her to go to the salon / parlour for a new hair-do , make-up. =You can find an upscale stylist for a make-over, hair, make-up and clothing, so she can look trendy. If you observe lot of the starlettes or models before and after their entry into the industry, what difference they had made in looks, with just a different make-over, it’s amazing. =If you have a close female family member or a female friend, then you can request them to help your wife with shopping or going to the parlour so that she can look her best, since you care for her. But my advice is to refrain from revealing what you have wrote over here to your family member or friend, since at times unintentionally, words can be transferred or miscommunicated to your wife and then you’ll be in a bigger mess. ==And you should also start to make efforts to look your best, for eg: going to the gym, dressing better, going to the salon(even though you may feel that you dont, you have to), since your wife won’tice all this and she also will naturally make an attempt to do the same and she’ll not wonder about you or feel offended each time you advice her about her looks or if you tell her to go to a salon or to the doc. ==With the acne scars, take her to a dermatologist. With microdermabrasion, laser and chemical peels her skin will able to renew slowly over time. (be aware that this takes time, so dont get disappointed). And Reiki healing and certain yoga techniques for the face and skin has helped a great deal of patients.along with allopathic treatment.(trust me, reiki has helped with healing). ==But all these attempts, do it over a period of time and dont bombard or plunge all this over her head at the same time, since sometimes a person can withdraw themselves and become self-conscious and lose their confidence which may create a further distance between you both. And also care for her in other aspects(her well-being, household etc) and not just looks, so she’ll come to understand that you’re a caring person and not just only about her looks. With time, all this will blend in and you both will be able to speak to each other more openly about the way you want each other to look to make each other feel better. As far as my experience, I’ve seen some men who chose women who were less attractive over those who were. And some men even cheated over their girlfriends or wives who were stunningly beautiful with some women who were much less attractive. So it’s not so much the looks, but a soul connection and a karmic connection. So dont despair, you and your wife do have a soul and a karmic connection. In addition to both of you working out each others issues, you and your wife have to maintain, strengthen and deepen your relationship by helping out other couples as much as possible. This will deepen your married relationship and then you’ll notice that your love & married life will be enriched in ways you cant possibly have imagined and you’ll find her beautiful in every way. Sometimes when this karmic connection is decreased, one begins to find flaws in the other be it looks or something else( even though they’ven't noticed before, this is what may have happened to you) and when it’s increased, the flaws are overlooked and things are much smoother. Did you know that Shah jahans esteemed wife, mumtaz mahal for whom he had built the Taj mahal, was not the most beautiful over all his wives, but he was more attracted to her than he was to his other wives. So appreciate all the positive aspects in your wife and do what you can to help her to be better and inturn your relationship. –( important) There is a spiritual side to love & marriage as well. ==Read these books: ==The five Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts By Dr. Gary chapman ==Love & Respect: The Love She Most Desires; The Respect He Desperately Needs By Dr. Emerson Eggerichs ==Love Must Be Tough: New Hope for Marriages in Crisis BY DR .
